Chacha Chaudhary becomes the Brand Ambassador for Namami Gange Project

– A joint initiative by Diamond Toons and Ministry of Jal Shakti

– A ‘Talking comics’ to promote behavioural change among masses to revive the river

New Delhi, 6th November 2020: The iconic Indian superhero, Chacha Chaudhary, the man whose brain works faster than a computer has now has come forward to join hands with Namami Gange Programme, an Integrated Conservation Mission to accomplish the twin objectives of effective abatement of pollution, conservation and rejuvenation of National River Ganga. Diamond Toons will conceptualize and publish this new ‘Talking Comics’ with Chacha Chaudhary spreading awareness on the cultural and spiritual significance of River Ganga and deploy best available knowledge across the masses for Ganga rejuvenation.

The character is all set to become the face of the movement and will help in successfully promoting this campaign across the country aggressively. The comics endeavours to promote strong behavioural change in adults, youth, students & kids alike. To ensure language doesn’t become a barrier in spreading the message, the comics have been translated into multiple Indian languages.

Involving Chacha Chaudhary shows the power and influence of this iconic character who is still working better in reaching out to people of all age groups and social profiles. The comics will be distributed via our 360-degree distribution network involving Print, School integration, Library Programs, Animation, Outdoor, Digital and Social Media. “

Its a matter of pride for us that Chacha Chaudhary is here again to preach and tackle yet another social issue. Appreciating the initiative, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Jal Shakti Minister said,

“Ganga rejuvenation is a continuous task that’s why we have to promote public participation, we have to create a sense of duty among people.”
