Bareilly, June 1st 2019. Unidentified youth beaten up four laborers after allegedly eating meat near a religious place in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly.
In the viral video on social media, four laborers can be seen beaten by the youth by belt. These laborers came here after being hired by a mason.
According to media reports Police said that two of the four workers belonged to the minority community and it could be provocative for the attack.
According to media reports the victims told the reporters that when they reached the youth, they were eating vegetarian food and the youth started beating them.
According to media reports Baheri police station house officer Dhananjay Singh said,
“Four unknown laborers were hired for construction work at a residence. During the lunch break, they are usually near the Devasthan (goddess idols) A small temple near a small shrine) went under the tree to eat. “
According to the police, the unknown youth reached there suddenly and started beating them while accusing them of eating meat near a holy place.
According to media reports Senior Superintendent of Police of Bareilly Muniraj ji Said that the police has registered a FIR against Valmiki and Manish and four unknown people. Two teams have been formed to catch the absconding accused.
