Why a Pakistani journalist criticizing Imran tweeted a video of Shabana Azmi and a picture of Pt. Nehru’s sister

New Delhi, 20th December 2019. Rauf Klasra is a senior Pakistani journalist, and is considered a critic of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan also does not desist from tightening Rauf Klassra when he gets a chance.In the midst of a nationwide agitation against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in India, Classera tweeted a picture of Vijay Laxmi Pandit, sister of modern India producer Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, retweeting a video tweet of Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi.

Shabana Azmi tweeted a video message in solidarity with the
protesters against the CAA and NRC, in which she read a “Sher” of Javed Akhtar
saying that she is out of India so she is not able to participate in the
movement, but those who are Protesting, fully accompany them.

While retweeting
it, Classera has mentored Shabana and tweeted a picture of Vijay Lakshmi
Pandit, writing,

“Btw when PM
Indira Gandhi imposed Emergency in 1975, Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit (PM Nehru
sister) was out of India. As she heard the news she took the first flight to
reach India to oppose rule of her niece and her drastic action.”

Shabana said in her message,

“Those who are burning me, they are oblivious that my
chain is slowly melting,

I got murdered in your street but, with my blood your wall
is melting.

I hope that the government will listen to our voice instead
of suppressing our voice. Those who are doing the Protest today, I am fully
with you. “

Rauf Klasra is a senior Pakistani journalist who has to say
about himself,

“People expect us to oppose unjust corrupt.We may or we may not succeed.But if we dont make efforts,we are held partners in crimes.”
