Jammu Tawi, J&K (India), 15th May 2020.  “A grave concern among the democrats, parliamentarians, lawyers, political thinkers and others about the new definition of the Union Government led by Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is being expressed whether the present Govt. of India is a Union Govt. of India or one person namely ‘Modi’ Government. Since a long time the Govt. of India ‘Union Govt. of India’ is being described/mentioned as Modi Government only. The surprises is that it is not the Media/Press which has invented this definition but the BJP leaders/Union Ministers and others have been mentioning/describing the Union Government as ‘Modi Government’. This is surprise for many media persons besides it is become a talk of the town that the present BJP Government at the Centre is being run by Shri Narendra Modi & others including his Cabinet Ministers have no role to play. The fact is the impression going to the public is that the present government at the Centre is being run only by Modi Ji and others have no role. Such an impression deserves to be cured at the earliest by the Prime Minister of the Union Government himself before this the latest coined slogan reaches interpretation of the Union Government as ‘emergency government’”.

Prof. Bhim Singh

Prof. Bhim Singh

Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron-JKNPP dispatched this message to Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister hoping that BJP sycophants may understand that this kind of Chimchagiri (Sycophancy) shall neither be in the interest of Parliamentary system nor the ruling political party.

Let the Media/Press also follow the Parliamentary system in India and describe the Central Government as Union Government of India. It is not one man government in Parliamentary democracy.

He expressed surprise that even the Union & State Ministers are using the term ‘Modi Government’ while addressing official press conferences from the official spokesman platform of Govt. of India, of the Press Information Bureau urged urgent intervention of the President of India to amend this misinterpretation.
