Help needed
I am proposing to write an article about the plight of people in India since lockdown was imposed in April 2020, and I need your help in this connection.
For instance, I was told by an employee of Honda company in Delhi who met me recently that he has no work for a long time, and is getting only 50% salary.
Similarly, I was told by a lawyer in Delhi that most junior lawyers who were earlier practising in Delhi have migrated to their home towns in UP, MP, Bihar etc since for about one year they had no work and no income. I am told some have become vegetable sellers.
I want to have details about people in other vocations/professions too, e.g. employees in the informal sector of our economy ( contract and temporary employees, migrant workers, etc ), private school teachers, corporate employees ( like the Honda employee I mentioned ), small and medium businessmen, shopkeepers, students, etc.
I would be obliged if details with data are sent to me on justicekatju@gmail.com. I could only find some generalisations on google
