Mumbai (News Helpline) 4th August 2021: Vaani Kapoor who will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time with Akshay Kumar in the forthcoming Bell Bottom, says she had a blast working with Khiladi Kumar.
Superstar Akshay Kumar along with Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh flew down to Delhi and released the trailer of a much-awaited spy thriller in a theatre.
While interacting with the News helpline at the trailer launch, Vaani Kapoor praised Akshay Kumar for being supportive and funny.
When asked about sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar for the first time, Vaani Kapoor said,
“I had an amazing experience working with Akshay Kumar. I am a huge fan of Akshay, in fact, my father and my entire family is a fan of him, as family, we have practically watched all his movies”
“I had a blast shooting with him, he is one the funniest human being, he has a great sense of humour, he is a great actor, he is approachable and he takes care of his team, including everyone on the sets. So you feel you’re shooting in a family environment. It was a new experience for me because we used to sit together, we had our food together on sets and off-sets as well, Akshay was out there for me, always supporting, so it was an incredible and great experience” added Vaani.
Helmed by Ranjit M Tewari and written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Sheikh, the film is inspired by real-life hijacking events in the 1980s in India, for instance, the 1984 Indian Airlines Airbus A300 hijacking.
The film is bankrolled by Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Nikkhil Advani under their respective banners Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment.
The film also stars Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in other prominent roles. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on 19 August 2021 in 3D.
