President presents national awards to teachers on Teachers’ Day
The President, Smt. Draupadi Murmu presented National Awards to 45 teachers of the country on the occasion of Teachers’ Day at a function organized at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi today.
Speaking on the occasion, the President remembered his teachers and said that the teachers not only taught him but also gave him love and inspiration. It was on the strength of the guidance of her family and teachers that she became the first daughter of her village to go to college.
She said that she always feels indebted to her teachers for whatever she has achieved in life.
