Punjab health minister sacked for corruption
Punjab Health Minister Vijay Singla was today sacked from the cabinet of the two-month-old Bhagwant Mann government. According to media reports, Singla has been arrested on corruption charges.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann tweeted,
“Aam Aadmi Party was born to establish an honest system… Arvind Kejriwal ji has always said that he will not tolerate corruption, be it his own or begaana.
Immediately after getting the evidence of corruption against the health minister, he was immediately sacked… as well as ordered an FIR.
