Vice President calls for creating awareness of preventive healthcare

The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu today called upon the medical community to create awareness among the people on the importance of preventive healthcare and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Inaugurating a medical camp organised by Swarna Bharat Trust and Global Hospitals, Chennai in Nellore today, Shri Naidu noted that sedentary and stressful lifestyles coupled with unhealthy food habits are leading to a rise in non-communicable diseases in the country. He urged everyone, particularly youngsters to undertake regular physical activities like yoga to maintain physical fitness and mental alertness.

Addressing a rally in Diphu in Karbi Anglong District Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that since 2014, the difficulties in the North East are reducing and development is taken place. “Today, when someone comes to the tribal areas of Assam or goes to other states of the North East, he also appreciates the situation changing”, he said. The Prime Minister recalled last year’s inclusion of many organizations from Karbi Anglong in the peace and development process. Bodo Accord in 2020 also opened doors for permanent peace. Similarly, said the Prime Minister, in Tripura too, NIFT have taken step towards peace.

CERT-In issues directions relating to information security practices

During the course of handling cyber incidents and interactions with the constituency, CERT-In has identified certain gaps causing hindrance in incident analysis. To address the identified gaps and issues so as to facilitate incident response measures, CERT-In has issued directions relating to information security practices, procedure, prevention, response and reporting of cyber incidents under the provisions of sub-section (6) of section 70B of the Information Technology Act, 2000. These directions will become effective after 60 days.

Corona worsening in India, with 3,303 new cases, 39 deaths

In the last 24 hours, 3,303 new cases of corona have been reported in India. Earlier on Wednesday, 2,937 cases of the corona were registered.

Mayawati said wants to become CM and PM, President’s post is not acceptable

Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Ms Mayawati has targeted Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav and said that she wants to become the Chief Minister of UP or later the Prime Minister of the country. He has no desire to be president.

In a press conference in Lucknow today, Mayawati said that it is possible for them to become CM and PM if the poor of Dalit, deprived, Muslim and upper-caste society rejoin the party. He said that now the Samajwadi Party is never going to come to power and Akhilesh Yadav himself is trying to flee abroad.
