Allahabad High Court dismisses the petition to open 22 closed rooms in the Taj Mahal
The court dismissed a plea seeking a fact-finding probe into the “history” of the Taj Mahal and the opening of its 22 locked rooms. According to India Today, the court said the plea to constitute a committee to find out the “real truth” behind the Taj Mahal is an “unjustified” issue.
Four more devotees died in Badrinath-Kedarnath, the total death toll was 26
According to media reports, three pilgrims who came on the pilgrimage to Badrinath Dham died of cardiac arrest. One of these devotees died in Pancham Kedar Kalpeshwar Dham.
