Allahabad High Court dismisses the petition to open 22 closed rooms in the Taj Mahal

The court dismissed a plea seeking a fact-finding probe into the “history” of the Taj Mahal and the opening of its 22 locked rooms. According to India Today, the court said the plea to constitute a committee to find out the “real truth” behind the Taj Mahal is an “unjustified” issue.

Four more devotees died in Badrinath-Kedarnath, the total death toll was 26
