11 dead after inhaling poisonous gas in Punjab
Eleven people, including three children, died and four fell seriously ill after inhaling poisonous gas in the densely populated Giaspura area with several industrial and residential buildings in Punjab’s Ludhiana on Sunday, media reports said. Most of the dead are daily wage workers.
Due to debris coming into Chada of Uttarakhand, there was a long jam on both sides of the Badrinath Highway.
The Badrinath highway has been blocked due to debris coming in Chada near Chamoli after the rains. There is a long queue of vehicles on the road. On the other hand, the police administration team that reached the spot on information is busy in opening the highway. The route has been diverted by the police and stopped at Nandprayag and Birhi.
