Have they learnt nothing from history?

I seriously believe Gen Munir and the Pak Corps Commanders need to be sent to a lunatic asylum. Have they learnt nothing from history? An army can fight another army, it cannot fight the masses, as the Americans learnt in Vietnam, and the Russians in Afghanistan. A tiger can kill a prey, not a swarm of mosquitoes.
Over 75% of Pakistanis solidly support Imran Khan ( as all opinion polls indicate ), and their numbers are rising. Will the Pak army fight 200-220 million Pakistanis? Have the Generals gone mad? Just because people have presently become silent due to fear, do the Generals think they will remain silent forever?
But who can explain to these pig-headed Generals?
I regret to say but only bitter experience and a lot of body bags alone will teach these dolts.
