New Delhi, 6 September 2025: The commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iran, Major General Mohammad Pakpour, has emphasised the importance of unity for achieving victory and liberating nations from the domination of arrogant powers and Zionism.
According to Iran's state-run news agency, IRNA, in a message issued on Saturday to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Major General Pakpour stressed that unity, solidarity, and cohesion of the Islamic Ummah are crucial in countering the conspiracies and malicious schemes of Islam’s enemies, particularly the United States and the illegitimate and evil Zionist regime.
History has shown that whenever Islamic societies come together with a unified will and determination, the plots of their adversaries have failed and become ineffective, he added.
He also warned that adversaries use modern media tools, psychological warfare, hybrid warfare, unjust sanctions, and occupation to weaken the determination of Muslim nations.
Major General Pakpour emphasised that Islamic unity, along with increased political and economic cooperation among Muslim countries, and the enhancement of defence and military capabilities, can establish a powerful Islamic deterrent and lead to the defeat of the forces of evil.
The IRGC commander stressed the critical need for the Islamic world to engage effectively on key issues, stating that unity is the essential path to victory and freeing nations from the domination of arrogant powers and malicious Zionism.
