Lucknow, 29 September :
India’s premier education magazine ‘Education World’ which publishes national
school rankings every year has declared City Montessori School, Lucknow to be
among India’s Top 3 Most Respected Education Brands. At a glittering ceremony
held at Hotel Leela Ambience Gurgaon today, the editor of Education World
Magazine, Mr Dilip Thakore conferred the prestigious title on CMS through the
President of its Board, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon. Also present to receive the
award was Ms Susmita Basu, Superior Principal and Head of Quality Assurance and
Innovations Department, CMS.

Grand Jury awards were given out in 11 different categories, ‘India’s Top 10
Most Respected Education brands’ being the most prestigious category wherein
the country’s best education groups were awarded for imparting quality
education and contributing in the country’s growth and development. Other
schools ranked amongst the Top 10 Most Respected Education Brands were the
Narayana Group of Schools, Ryan International Schools, Seth MR Jaipuria group
of Institutions, Sunbeam group, Vibgyor group of schools etc. CMS was ranked
3rd among all these national top-ten education brands.
The grand jury which
judged the best school brands of the country comprised renowned educationists
and experts like Meeta Sengupta
(Educationist and Senior Advisor Centre for Civil Society, Delhi), Rohit
Mohindra (Director of the Mumbai-based Raj Mohindra Consultants Pvt. Ltd),
Damodar Prasad Goyal (President of the Society for Unaided Private Schools of
Rajasthan), Fatima Agarkar (Co-founder of KA EduAssociates), Dr.K.R. Maalathi
(Founder- CEO of Auuro Educational Services, Chennai) and Sumer Singh,
(celebrated former principal of Daly College, Indore).

Gandhi expressing profound happiness on this recognition and said that CMS
being counted as among the best schools of India has put Lucknow on the national
educational map and has made Lucknow a hub of ‘quality education’ in
the country. The credit for this success goes to the dutiful teachers of CMS
whose unparalleled dedication has made CMS famous not only nationally but also
internationally.
