Assembly elections: 61.06 in UP, 59.51 in Uttarakhand, 77.94 per cent voting in Goa
A total of 61.06 per cent voting was recorded in the second phase of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh today. Apart from this, 59.51 per cent voter turnout has been recorded in Uttarakhand and 77.94 per cent in Goa, where the assembly elections have been held in single-phase.
According to the Election Commission data, North Goa recorded 79.45 per cent voter turnout while South Goa recorded 76.92 per cent voter turnout.
In Uttar Pradesh, where polling was held in 55 seats in nine districts, the highest turnout was recorded in Saharanpur at 67.52 per cent and the lowest in Shahjahanpur at 55.20 per cent.
