Medha Patkar's sentence in defamation case stayed, court seeks response from LG
In the defamation case, Delhi's Saket Court sent a notice to LG VK Saxena on the appeal of social activist Medha Patkar. The Additional Sessions Judge has directed Saxena to file a reply. Advocate Gajinder Kumar took notice on behalf of Saxena. The next hearing of the case is on September 4. Meanwhile, the court granted bail to Medha Patkar on depositing a bond of Rs 25,000 and a bail amount of the same amount and stayed the sentence. Patkar had challenged the order of the lower court.

Delhi Municipal Corporation i.e. MCD has taken a big action today regarding the Rau IAS Coaching Center accident in Old Rajendra Nagar of the national capital Delhi. MP Afzal Ansari gets relief from High Court
