Mamata Banerji was always a dramabaz. Her latest dramabazi, after losing the elections, is putting on a lawyers attire and going to the Calcutta High Court, protesting against post-poll violence in West Bengal.
Why did she go to the High Court ? Obviously because she has lost her own election, and so she cannot shout and scream in the legislative assembly. But she must have a place where she can shout and scream, to get publicity and remain in the limelight. So she has chosen the High Court.
But it wont work. Bengalis have by now grown familiar and accustomed to her antics and drama.
So I want to suggest to her a better method. She should put on gerua ( bhagwa ) attire, take a kamandal in her hand, shave her head, and go to a gupha ( cave ) in the Himalayas, doing ghor tapasya, doing pashchaataap ( penitence ) and praying for forgiveness for her misdeeds and gundagardi.
And all this should be done after notifying the media, so that it is adequately publicized.
If she does this, I am sure Bengalis will forgive her, and she will again become the Chief Minister, and can begin her gundagardi again.
